The Roger Diamond Foundation (RDF) is an education and research not-for-profit organisation. Herein referred to as ‘The Roger Diamond Foundation’, ‘RDF’, 'we' or ‘us’. Any fees received in regard to donations, tuition fees, memberships or attending events etc. are strictly applied to administrative costs, tuition costs, core costs and other costs incurred to run our charitable services, or for raising funds to run such services. Fundraising costs may include hiring venues, digital apps, venue equipment etc. Whatever the costs, they are for charitable purposes only. 

Tuition Registration Process 

You need to complete a registration form to attend most of our workshop events, tuition or classes. This is normally found on this website when we are about to run a workshop or open new classes. If not, we can email it to you on request. 

RDF Membership Process

If you have enrolled or taken out a membership with RDF, please read these General Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) or if you have a free membership our Free Membership Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) may apply. 

At the end of the Free Membership period you may be offered a renewal (possibly by an automated system). You may have another free period if that is on offer, or you can renew your membership at the price advertised on our website at the point of renewal. 

Discounted, 'Pay as You Go' and free tuition services 

Discounted, 'Pay as You Go' and free tuition services are provided to beneficiaries individually on a case-by-case basis and on an availability basis - the details of which may be explained to the enquirer or registrant by an RDF volunteer, staff member or practitioner - or on this RDF website from time to time. 

Tuition Registration Application Process in General

After you submit an online tuition enquiry form or online registration application to the The Roger Diamond Foundation, you will be sent automated email confirming successful submission of your enquiry or registration.

Usually and initially you will be put on a waiting list. Then when an appropriate, suitable vacancy comes up you will usually be informed. However, The Roger Diamond Foundation does not have a legal obligation to inform the applicant of a vacancy or to provide the applicant with a reason for not informing them of a vacancy.

Regarding applications which do not meet the registration category or criteria, if not accepted, we will try to inform the applicant. However, The Roger Diamond Foundation does not have a legal obligation to inform the applicant or provide the applicant with a reason for not accepting their application for registration. 

Monthly or Yearly Payments (if applicable)

If you wish to pay for your membership, tuition fee or registration (if applicable) on a monthly or yearly basis, a direct debit mandate can be set up though our website. 

We will usually send you the link by WhatsApp or email. Please ask or remind us to send you the link.

For the regular payment link we use a well-known automated online processing company 'GoCardless' via our website (www.rdfcharity.org.uk). This is a simple and secure, well known, online payment processing system linked to our website (www.rdfcharity.org.uk). All personal data is secure and encrypted using SSL technology. 

One-off Payments (if applicable)

If you wish to pay for your membership, tuition fee or registration (if applicable) on a one-off basis – you can do so by cash or via our online payment link.

We will usually send you the link by WhatsApp or email. Please ask or remind us to send you the link.

For the 'one-off' payment links we use the well-known automated online processing company ‘Stripe’ (a simple and secure automated online system) via the membership registration links on our website (www.rdfcharity.org.uk). All personal data is secure and encrypted using SSL technology. 

Newsletters & Updates 

Registration for tuition or classes with The Roger Diamond Foundation (RDF) may include automatically subscribing to us via email or WhatsApp group updates and/or receiving newsletters from us. If you wish to unsubscribe to updates and newsletters etc. – you can do so at any time by informing us in person or in writing.

RDF Events General Process

RDF events are usually bookable via the rdfcharity.org.uk website and links contained in marketing communication emails from The Roger Diamond Foundation (RDF). If not, we can usually send you the link on request. 

Ticket & Events Refunds Policy

Currently, our external events are usually organised through external or third-party organisations or venues or via their website or an online app. By default, subject to the venue or app provider stipulating otherwise, we cannot provide or issue refunds for cancellations. Sometimes a venue may offer refunds for cancellations that apply to the tickets we issue – when this is the case, it will be made clear in writing on our website, or at the point of you purchasing the tickets, or in any separate Terms and Conditions provided by us at the time of advertising the event.

Late ticket purchase for events Policy

This depends on the event. Please ask about this in person when you arrive at the event’s entrance.

DATA COLLECTION

Data collection

Data is collected for three purposes:

1) To assess eligibility and the correct category for your tuition or registration.

2) To allow The Roger Diamond Foundation (RDF) to provide support and resources to its members.

3) To provide information about the charity’s work, research, events, courses, workshops, projects etc. to members or non-members who opted-in to receiving our communications.
