Professor Titus Olaniyi has spent many years advising young people and teenagers on how to avoid involvement in gang crime, drug trade etc. He teaches mostly young people engineering at his university.

On the subject of Knife Crime, Prof Olaniyi said: "The increasing anti-social behaviour of young people and frequent aggression from youth gangs is a very serious issue transcending national boundaries and hence requires systemic paradigm in addressing the underlying structure for urgent and lasting solutions". Prof Olaniyi would like to be one of the many specialists speaking about these and other pertinent issues at RDF seminars in the future.

Prof Titus Kehinde Olaniyi is a Professor of Mechatronics and Systems Engineering. He was the Deputy Provost, College of Engineering at Afe Babalola University Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), Nigeria. 

Furthermore, as a Decision Scientist, COREN Registered Engineer, and Fellow of The Higher Education Academy UK, Prof Titus adopts System Thinking/System Dynamics as sustainable decision support paradigm for planning and policy formulation. His teaching, research and consultancy services include sustainability, energy, aerospace, information, communication technology and systems.
