Supplementary Classes & Saturday Schools

The Roger Diamond Foundation (RDF) runs and promotes high quality supplementary classes, tuition and workshops - requested by parents for their children in our local (disadvantaged) communities. Our services feature Saturday Reading and Writing Mastery classes. These classes enable children to become masters of literacy.  Some of our classes include creative writing, poetry, script-reading, performance drama, etc.

Our supplementary classes are provided in local racially diverse communities. Currently we are not funded. When funded, we can run our flagship Saturday Literacy Mastery Schools at more community centres - in or near social housing estates in RBKC and Westminster (North Kensington, Queens Park and North Paddington).

Mastery of Reading & Writing We run supplementary reading and writing mastery classes and sessions for 5 to 11 year olds on Saturday mornings during term-time. The children learn to read or improve their phonics, grammar, comprehension etc. We use superb instructional text-books for whole-class teaching. The children's reading ages on average increase by over a year in just 18 hours or one average school term of RDF class tuition.
