Gill Fitzhugh MBE is a Trustee and Patron of the Roger Diamond Foundation (RDF).

Gill for many years used to be a Saturday morning Literacy Mastery School volunteer for RDF (and previously Real Acton Ltd.) Gill had a particular interest in teaching young people and children to read and write. 

Gill Fitzhugh helped set up Queens Park Community Council and has been, until recently, a Queens Park Community Councillor. Gill has been a London based community volunteer for decades - especially in disadvantaged areas of Westminster (WCC) and North Kensington (RBKC).

Gill helped set up and found a number of charities in London and has sat on various boards that help disadvantaged communities. Gill has a professional background in teaching history - with an ongoing special interest in helping children and young people who for one reason or another have fallen behind in their reading and writing at school.
