Saturday Morning Reading Mastery School
We run supplementary reading and writing mastery classes for children aged 5 to 11 at Saturday morning schools during term time. These are usually held in community centres, schools and other suitable venues across London.
Local parents like us to use the phonics based Butterfly Book by Irina Tyk. We place the children in classes according to their reading ages. For reading ages eight plus, we use the Butterfly grammar and comprehension books. Our volunteer teachers use carefully researched, proven effective whole-class teaching methods. Tailored training and ongoing support for volunteer classroom assistants is provided.
